Tech Connect Loan Program
The Tech Connect Loan Program helps tenants access technology such as laptops, tablets or smartphones through affordable, interest-free loans.
To make it more affordable, Pacific Link Housing contributes $250 towards the cost of the device, so you pay less overall. This makes it easier to get what you need without relying on high-cost or short-term loans.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, you must:
- be a tenant or household member of a Pacific Link Housing property for more than 3 months.
- have all rent and non-rent payments up to date.
- have a good record of payment and tenancy history.
Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee support. Applications are assessed based on eligibility and level of need, and a limited number of places are available each year.
Guidelines
To ensure funds are distributed fairly, the following guidelines apply:
- applications can be made at any time during the year.
- items are purchased by Pacific Link Housing and provided to the tenant, along with an invoice for warranty purposes.
- tenants enter into a loan agreement with Pacific Link Housing for the remaining amount.
- loans are interest-free.
