Better Backyard

Better Backyard Loan Program

The Better Backyard Loan Program helps tenants create and maintain outdoor spaces they can enjoy.

Through this program, you can apply for an interest-free loan to purchase selected battery-powered gardening equipment from the Husqvarna Aspire range. This includes items like lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, grass trimmers, pruners and shears.

To make it more affordable, Pacific Link Housing contributes towards the cost of your equipment, so you pay less overall. The amount we contribute depends on the total purchase. See subsidy amounts in the program guidelines below.

  • purchases between $400–$699 receive a $200 subsidy.
  • purchases between $700–$1,000 receive a $300 subsidy.

For example, if your total purchase is $950, Pacific Link Housing contributes $300 and you repay the remaining $650 through an interest-free loan.
