Community Builder Grants

Community Builder Grants

Our Tenant Community Builder Grants can help Pacific Link Housing tenants turn a good idea into a project that other tenants can enjoy.

Your idea could be a BBQ or morning tea, craft or gardening group, fitness activity, workshop, social group, cultural celebration or something else that helps people connect, learn new skills or get involved locally.

Successful projects can receive funding and support from our team to help with planning, promotion, venues, materials or arranging an instructor.

You do not need to have everything worked out before you apply. If you have an idea, we’d love to hear it.

Apply Now

Before applying, please read the Eligibility Criteria and Guidelines below.
If you need help completing the application form, contact our team on 4324 7617.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

  • be a tenant or household member of a Pacific Link Housing property for more than 3 months.
  • have all rent and non-rent payments up to date.

Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee support. Applications are assessed based on eligibility and level of need, and a limited number of places are available each year.

Guidelines

Tenant Community Builder Grants should:

  • have a clear purpose and benefit the wider PLH tenant community
  • help tenants connect, take part and build positive relationships
  • be welcoming, inclusive, realistic and safe to deliver
  • have a sensible budget and complement existing activities rather than duplicate them
