HIGH ACHIEVER JOINS PACIFIC LINK
Expanding local community, social and affordable housing group, Pacific Link, has appointed Simone Lenihan to take up the position of Chief Operating Officer for the group.
Pacific Link Housing has developed an innovative plan to increase the supply of community and social housing at no additional cost to the NSW Government. Instead, the plan will add to the value of the NSW Government’s current housing assets.
If accepted, the Pacific Link plan will see it fund the addition of secondary dwellings – commonly called granny flats – to around 100 existing properties owned by Housing throughout the Central Coast and Lower Hunter.read more
Students ranging in age from 5 to 78 were among the latest group to receive scholarships from Pacific Link Housing at a recent awards ceremony.
More than 70 tenants – many of who find it difficult to fund their studies on marginal incomes – have now received education scholarships from Pacific Link, which has been recognised as having the best tenant support programs in Australia and New Zealand.read more
One of Australia’s most experienced banking executives, Mr Wal Edgell, has been appointed to the board of Pacific Link Housing.
Mr Edgell joins the board following the resignation of Mr David Lennox, a long-serving former board member who leaves after eight years of dedicated service.read more
Pacific Link Housing has developed a detailed set of recommendations to improve the supply of social housing and reduce the current shortfall in the Central Coast and Hunter regions.
The recommendations are contained in a 30-page submission to the NSW Department of Family and Community Services’ Social Housing Discussion Paper.read more
Upgrade and refurbishment work at the Dunbar Way and Kendall Village estates in North Gosford is now nearing completion.
Pacific Link Housing is managing and funding the $400,000 program to improve tenant facilities for residents ranging from young families to retirees in age.
The NSW Government-approved project will ensure the estates' 100 homes continue to provide community and social housing for many years to come.read more
Four years ago Pacific Link was restructured under a new Chairman – a situation that ultimately led to a major management restructure under newly appointed Chairman, David Bacon.
